The first nomination category was Women in Business, which is a regional award for entrepreneurial women who have founded and run their own company; shown exceptional abilities in mentoring other women; and/or helped their business achieve significant results in the past year. Nicola was awarded Role Model in this category and the judges said, ‘Nicola has taken the traditional model of sales lead generation and made it more professional, more human and ulitimately more successful. She was chosen specifically for her inspiring and flexible leadership’. Guest speaker Michelle Mone, The Baroness Mone of Mayfair OBE presented this award.
Following a gruelling selection and interview process Nicola made it through to the final 3 for The Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Inspire16 Awards. This is an annual event being held on November 10th 2016 at The Hampshire Court Hotel, Basingstoke with over 500 in attendance and is designed for local business leaders that demonstrate drive, commitment and impressive business success achieved within the last 5 years.
Most recently Nicola received news that she has been selected as one of six finalists for the category of Business Person of the Year in the prestigious Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards. The Gala Event will be held at the Madejski Stadium, Reading, November 18th 2016. It could see Nicola walk away with an amazing award in recognition for her “Strong business influence, entrepreneurial skills, effective leadership skills, and strategic initiatives” – all the traits utilised in building Xcel Sales.
It has been a busy year for the ambitious founder of The UK’s No1 Lead Generation Agency for the Insurance and Professional Services Market. Earlier in the year, Nicola oversaw a major relocation of the entire company from rapidly premises to more suitable offices in Chineham Park. In addition to that, Nicola has been featured in many industry magazines and is a recognised public speaker.
