Artisan British chocolate brand Choc on Choc has appointed Julian Clarke as Sales Director in a move that is central to the company’s strategy to expand market share in the UK.
Clarke has worked in the confectionery industry for almost a decade, with four and a half and five years at House of Dorchester and Candyking respectively. Prior to this, he operated as a retail buyer and will utilise this wealth of experience to support Choc on Choc in accelerating its expansion after 11 years of double digit growth.
Choc on Choc sells its extensive range of Belgian chocolates through its website as well as with select retail partners. Clarke’s task will be to grow existing accounts in addition to securing new listings for the brand. With a track record of growing business with stockists including John Lewis, Tesco and Harrods, Clarke knows a thing or two about keeping high profile clients sweet.
Choc on Choc MD and Founder Flo Broughton says “Choc on Choc’s appointment of Julian Clarke as Sales Director is key to the company’s growth strategy. In the 11 years that we have been trading, the business has experienced double digit expansion.
“Clarke will now work with the team to increase the number of retailers that our products are stocked at as well as growing the amount that we are trading through existing stockists. His appointment marks an exciting period in the business’ development.”
Choc on Choc pairs the finest Belgian chocolate with innovative and detailed designs to create beautiful and delicious handmade confectionery.
The brand takes its name from the patented production method invented by its founders, which decadently layers chocolate on top of chocolate, and makes its products completely unique.
Choc on Choc’s expert chocolatiers have created a vast collection of confectionery, with over 200 individual designs and an array of exciting chocolate flavours, from strawberry champagne to salted caramel. The products can be purchased as a scrumptious personal treat or given as a gift, making the perfect present for that special occasion, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, Christmas or Easter.
The Choc on Choc range combines traditional favourites, like the truffle collection with its 16 individual varieties and contemporary innovations. From ice cream cones to igloos, the chocolates are available in all shapes and sizes and for the inventive, there is the Melt & Make series, which allows amateur chocolatiers to produce their own creations, including edible versions of London landmarks.
The complete Choc on Choc range is available to purchase online, for nationwide delivery, from choconchoc.co.uk
The brand’s products are also stocked in selected retailers, including Boots, John Lewis, Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Selfridges.
