The Thought Leadership Manual is written by Tim Prizeman, owner of public relations and thought leadership agency Kelso Consulting.
Prizeman believes that the key to standing out in the market, and changing your business for the better is by becoming a thought leader, and not just any thought leader - a successful one.
In the book, Prizeman builds on his experiences of working with numerous professional and technology firms over the past 17 years to devise and implement successful initiatives. He and his team advise businesses of all sizes, particularly consultancy, professional and business technology firms that provide high-value services and need strong relationships with directors, owners and senior decision makers.
Tim explains why he wrote the book:
“Thought leadership is a new and evolving but already very important area where advice and good practice is needed. Yet while many firms have thought leadership programmes, there are few books on it and it does not feature in marketing or other courses. So there is a big need for books and advice, guidance and best practice, and my book does just that.
“Most books focus on the process or channels to help you become a thought leader. This book is different because it covers a process on how to generate strong insights, and also how to make sure your ideas will genuinely be of interest. The message is that there is lots spent on fancy looking content and channels, but there is often a black hole at the centre of much B2B marketing; the absence of strong and attention-grabbing ideas.”
One Amazon reviewer commented: “Indispensable! In my line of business, this makes for imperative reading... best money you will spend. Helped me focus more, direct my thoughts to what I wanted to achieve, and positively make a difference. Cannot recommend it highly enough.”
