Steve Holford has been appointed as VP of Revenue at Hyperoptic, a UK-based Fibre-to-the-Home provider. Steve will oversee all aspects of the company’s marketing operations and customer acquisition programmes.
Steve has over a decade of experience marketing both B2B and B2C Internet solutions. Previously he was the Chief Marketing Officer at the UK2 Group, a global group of web hosting companies. Prior to that he oversaw the marketing operations at Rise Partners, was Chief Marketing Officer at Fasthosts Internet Ltd and was Director of Internet Services at Video Networks Ltd – which was later bought by Tiscali and then transformed into TalkTalk TV.
As VP of Revenue, Steve will be creating and implementing go-to-market strategies for Hyperoptic’s award-winning services. He will be developing and managing a revenue generation and customer acquisition machine to enable the company to realise its goal of passing 500,000 homes by 2018, and becoming the UK’s gold standard in broadband connectivity.
Steve will also be delivering the product strategy, making sure it meets customer needs for fast, reliable fibre broadband. In this newly created role, Steve will oversee a team of eight and report directly to Dana Tobak, Managing Director of Hyperoptic.
