Regus, the global workspace provider, has opened its first business centre in Halifax. This latest opening is further evidence of Regus’ UK network expansion as demand for flexible workspace continues to increase.
The centre occupies three floors of Fearnley Mill, located within the nationally renowned Dean Clough Mills development. The site houses over 130 workstations and offers a diverse range of flexible workspace options for businesses and professionals.
- A large, open plan, co-working space
- High-specification meeting rooms bookable by the hour
- Over 40 offices, of varying sizes
- A drop-in business lounge
- Virtual Office services
Regus expects the facility to be popular with a wide range of users including local small businesses, start-ups and remote workers as well as national firms opening satellite offices and global businesses establishing a footprint in the local area.
Richard Morris, UK CEO, Regus, comments: “We’re delighted to announce that our first Halifax location is open for business. The town is fast establishing itself as a thriving business destination and a prime spot for firms looking for a well-connected base in the North, so it’s only right that it features in our UK expansion plans.
“The opening of our new centre is testament to the town’s need for cost-effective workspace that matches today’s flexible, modern workforce. We know that more and more people are working flexibly, instead of the traditional 9-5 in the office, and we are seeing month-on-month growth in interest in flexible working options which provide a more agile alternative to fixed offices.”
