Xcel Sales, which is headquartered in Wokingham, has appointed Gillian Watson as business development manager based at the company’s Aberdeen office in Riverside Drive.
Launched in 2013, Xcel Sales works with high profile clients in a range of industries including oil and gas, financial, IT, and legal sectors, using the four key areas of planning and strategy; social media; data management; lead generation and telemarketing to get the best results for clients.
The business, which employs a team of highly skilled agents, is fast becoming one of the UK's leading new B2B business acquisition agencies, due to its close working relationship with clients.
The Aberdeen office is going from strength to strength, and in the past year the company has generated around£2million in sales leads for its client base including Prosource IT, Empire, Imajica, DF Communications, Viscom and Survival Craft Inspectorate.
Ms Watson successfully ran her own retail company in the North of Scotland for over 15 years before moving into the oil and gas sector. She has a vast amount of experience in developing sales and marketing strategies along with being a keen networker and event organiser.
Ms Watson said: “Managing the daily operations of Xcel Sales’ base in Aberdeen is a great challenge, and I am enjoying my new role. I look forward to being a part of the growth of the company in the North-east as it continues to secure new clients and create pipeline opportunities for its existing customer base.”
Xcel Sales, CEO, Nicola Hartland said: “Figures published recently revealed that North Sea oil revenues fell by 75% in the first three months of 2015. This creates opportunities for Xcel for lead generation and sales growth, and Gillian’s appointment as business development manager is key as we position ourselves for future growth in Aberdeen.”
