Artesian Solutions, the innovative developer of social intelligence software has unveiled a brand new, user-definable ‘Hotness’ feature, designed to pinpoint the hottest prospects for users of its innovative Prospector tool, and deliver the most compelling reasons yet to pick up the phone to buyers with confidence.
Hotness, which is available now in Version 10 of the product, uses Artesian’s unique media tagging algorithms to identify companies that are appearing in news and social media in relation to specific business events. The tool enables users to prioritise their sales targets more accurately, according to their own criteria, and identify which sales targets from within their prospector list are the ‘Hottest’.
“Every sale starts with a conversation and ‘Hotness’ provides users with the material to initiate more conversations with more of their targets,” said Richard Clark, VP of Product Management at Artesian. “It allows users to focus on a small but important percentage of their prospector list and identifies hot topics for discussion so users can super-charge their social selling.”
Artesian software puts up-to-the-minute intelligence directly in the hands of sellers, giving its 18,000 users the ability to improve their engagement with buyers from the outset. The Prospector tool is a core part of Artesian and in Version 10 has undergone a new look-and-feel to incorporate the Hotness feature. The design will improve the experience for users, providing them with a workflow that is even more logical and intuitive than the previous version.
“Our users benefit from the software’s embedded ‘surveillance and news-tagging’ technology and this is a powerful differentiator, ensuring they receive accurate, relevant news stories about the companies that they are interested in. Our search and filter tools are also highly sophisticated and this makes the user experience valuable and time efficient.”
Artesian has already tested the new ‘Hotness’ feature and Prospector look-and-feel with users and has received positive feedback in return. Existing subscribers to Prospector are already being automatically upgraded to the features in Version 10.
This past quarter marked the fifth consecutive quarter of growth for Artesian. Andy Sadler, VP of Sales, said: “We are practicing what we preach by using our own unique solution, along with the Hotness feature, to help us identify the best opportunities for own sales people. This has helped us to grow exponentially over the past year. In the last three months of 2014 we added on over five hundred new users and we expect Hotness to help them grow, as well as to support our own continued expansion.”
