Trend towards automated custom catalogs

These figures are comparable to what we've seen at with regard to adoption of catalog software. There is another story as well, which is that there is a trend away from making a single master catalog. Instead there is a growing interest in automating the creation of many custom print catalogs which are focused on specific niche markets. These days businesses are even empowering sales reps and channel partners to make their own custom print catalogs. It is far less costly and more effective than printing huge quantities of a one-size-fits-all master catalog.
