The agreement allows DiscoverOrg to license HG Data’s global dataset of B2B technology installations and create additional search filters for users of its prospecting solution.
DiscoverOrg profiles key contacts within the IT, Finance, Marketing, Engineering and Product Development departments of organisations worldwide. At the core of its constantly-refreshed database is a powerful search engine that allows marketers to create hyper-targeted prospect lists and sales teams to identify hot opportunities and gain insight into their target accounts. The inclusion of HG Data’s installed-technologies intelligence expands the number of searchable technologies and companies linked to those technologies substantially for DiscoverOrg users.
Highlights of the data merge include:
- 37% increase in number of unique technologies available for filter and search There are nearly 4000 net new technologies in the DiscoverOrg database as a result of this data merge.
- 110% increase in unique links between searchable technologies and companies There are 770,000 new connections between companies profiled and available technologies, potentially increasing the search results for any given technology tag.
With this additional sales intelligence comes an improved ability for DiscoverOrg users to rapidly assess opportunities and engage in more accurately targeted outreach, effectively implementing competitive displacement and technology integration sales campaigns.
