Organisations can now optimise inside-sales experience and motivate their most promising sales staff with the opening of a Business Development Academy, by Clarify.
The Academy aims to provide consultancy and training services to boost internal sales team success in demand generation. The move hopes to address pressure on sales teams to find and recruit the right level of skills, as well as retain them for the longer term.
Clarify has revealed that business development executives with less than two years experience are being offered up to £70k packages and, in many instances, remain in post for less than 18 months.
“Enterprises are being faced with the challenges of setting ever-increasing targets but, at the same time, not having the right skills to focus on the priorities and management needed to deliver them,” said Claire Edmunds, CEO at Clarify.
“That, combined with over-inflated packages being offered to a range of sales people, makes it very difficult to make each individual deliver return on investment, consistently, within a short space of time. Our training courses have two objectives: one is to fill the skills gap an organisation needs. The second is to give external input to the motivation and long-term team planning required to retain sales talent and hit organisational targets.”
The sales training courses include practical activities in a live sales environment and expert advice in best practice sales and marketing methodologies. These imbue sustainable skills within each individual to help teams increase team performance and quality to boost pipeline and exceed targets.
Each Business Development Academy attendee will be measured and benchmarked against best practice areas to improve their performance and motivation and help them hit the corporate objectives.
