As Sales Initiative prepares to publish the first ever annual UK Sales Skills Audit (USSA), at the Excel Centre, Sales Innovation 15th May, the source of the report (the USSA modules) will be launched as a commercially available service online, via www.Si-Store.com.
The UK Sales Skills Audit is a globally benchmarked, online assessment tool designed to test the common skills needed in any sales-related job across all sectors and at any level, from first job up to sales director or strategic sales specialist (where core sales skills are still required in addition to a more advanced skill set). They are ideal for both recruiters and self-motivated individuals who simply wish to further their core sales skills.
Anyone with experience in recruiting sales professionals will be familiar with the age old problem of the "they came across great in the interview but now I don't know what's going wrong" scenario. Sales people can be great at selling themselves but it is no guarantee they can sell your products!
The USSA has been carefully designed to put a stop to this problem, allowing recruiters to monitor someone's competence in the five core skill sets as well as benchmark them against the UK's national averages - so you really will get a better insight to who are employing.
Equally important, if a candidate was great in the interview but achieved a low score in the Customer Contact Skill test, for example, you can focus your sales training efforts precisely where it is most needed. A fast and efficient approach to adding new sales professionals to your team that will hit the ground ready to sell!
The USSA modules will be launched as a commercially available online service in late May 2014. For a modest sum, employers, managers, and sales professionals will be able to buy individual modules or the complete suite of tests, together with bolt on tools such as 'Team Dashboard' which will allow managers the ability to quickly view strengths and weaknesses across a team.
In preparation for the launch, Sales Initiative are allowing the first 200 preregistered users to have FREE access to all five modules for themselves or a single user. Visit our USSA page for further details.
