The Association of Professional Sales has been in operation for less than a year, however, the new not for profit trade association for those who work in sales is already boasting clients such as Royal Mail, SAP, Vodafone and Wipro. With hundreds of members joining the pursuit to have sales recognised in the form of Chartered status, sales leaders are becoming increasingly excited by this new Association.
The APS is looking forward to joining forces with other organisations that celebrate and promote the importance and value of the sales profession. The National Sales Conference represents an environment where sales leaders join to celebrate the profession and a place where the APS can have more conversations with fantastic professionals that are committed to great selling.
APS are also promoting the next core event where over 50 multi national companies will be coming together to sign up to a 'Sales Behaviour Code’, a code developed by sales leaders for the good of the profession as a whole. This 'Sales Behaviour Code’ will be the first step towards a UK wide initiative of sales leaders promoting their commitment to ethical selling.
The work of their partners EY, Consalia, Pepsico, Barclays, SAP and the University of Portsmouth in helping to create this code, that will be shared with members ready for their signatory and commitment, has been unrivalled in the development of sales standards.
APS are looking forward to more sales leaders joining this journey, becoming members of the APS and committing to an ethical way of selling.
