Did you know that only 7% of firms have become digital organisations? And in fact, many struggle to scale up from Proof of Concept to truly build the speed and agility needed to evolve for the digital age and reap the benefits? With just a few days left until the National Sales Conference, one of the keynote speakers, Maggie Buggie is preparing to talk about the finer points of selling digital; the importance of innovation as the front door to digital; and how staying relevant in this permanently transforming world is linked to not only technology but people.
As the Global Sales Officer for Digital Services at Capgemini, Maggie is well-versed in staying ahead of the curve and learning through experience. She can talk about the importance of testing and learning; failing fast and recovering faster – and using learned knowledge to find and maximise new opportunities to take businesses to the next level.
As an advocate of diversity, developing and mentoring talent, Maggie not only ensures that she nurtures existing talent by creating the right organisational structures to suit their needs, but also ensures the business has the right skills to help retain a competitive edge – a key success factor in this fast paced market, and an absolute must when selling digital services. Maggie truly believes that an inspirational leader is one who inspires those around her to achieve the best in themselves.
Maggie holds both a Master of Letters and a BBS Lang in Business and French from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. She also holds a degree from the Grande Ecole de Commerce de Rouen, France. In her free time she is an avid cyclist and a novice horse-racing jockey.
