Roger Skinner CEO of Maxxian UK said: “I am absolutely delighted to be involved in the European Women in Sales Awards! Over the last two decades and perhaps for very much longer, yes centuries, we have seen many organisations destroyed by leadership and sales leadership fuelled by ego, power, greed and disrespect as we pull out of the global financial crisis we shall hopefully see these traits replaced by empathy, trust, integrity and caring; values that seem to come naturally to women! "The finalists for these awards have shown themselves to portray these values combined with exceptional energy a positive attitude and focus. Congratulations to all the individuals nominated for the awards, the finalists and the winners – truly an outstanding performance by everyone.”
The event also acknowledged the following: Rebecca Drew, account executive at LinkedIn (London), who won a Kindle Fire HD for the first entry submission and Karen Goodbrand, business manager at Neopost Limited (Romford), who was rewarded with a touch Silver Quad Band Watch mobile phone for being the most active finalist on social media in relation to the awards.
All the winners will be mentored for a year by senior executives including Inga Beale group CEO of Canopius, Liz Kershaw former group director of publishing at The Hearst Corporation, Katrina Lowes head of marketing at Vodafone Global Enterprise.
