Twenty weeks to sales startdom! Over the next few weeks I will be delivering a bitesize sales tips. I must warn you however, reading it will do nothing to increase your sales, but using them and implementing them into your everyday sales life will lead to increased sales, better positive attitude, stronger customer loyalty and a bigger pay cheque! So let's get going!
Thank you notes are a dying breed, many of us have not handwritten anything in the last year. Do you remember the last handwritten thank you note you received? How did you feel when you got it? What did you do with it?
The last one I received was about a year ago and it is still pinned on my board. A hand written thank you note shows your customer, prospect that you took the time and that you actually care about them.
- Don't make it to long, keep it short and to the point
- Hand written is a must
- Make it personalised and sincere
Here is an example of one that I have personally written:
I wanted to personally send you this letter to let you know how much We at Meadows Performance appreciate your business. You've been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to being part of your sales teams success.
I will be following up in person with you regarding your sales results three weeks after our first training session to ensure you are fully satisfied with our service.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me on my cell phone.
This letter took me only minutes to write and mail but has given me a lifelong customer and friend. It was short, it was personal and it told him what I was going to do to ensure he was happy with our services.
