Global workspace provider Regus has announced plans to open its first business centre in Lewisham. The deal is further evidence of Regus’ UK network expansion as demand for flexible workspace continues to increase.
The centre, which is due to open this summer, will occupy three floors (12,800 sq ft) of Romer House on Lewisham High Street.
The site will house over 200 workstations and offer a range of flexible working options for businesses and professionals including co-working space, virtual office services, meeting rooms which are bookable by the hour, and over 60 offices of varying sizes.
Regus expects the facility to be popular with a wide range of users including local small businesses, start-ups and remote workers as well as national firms opening satellite offices and global businesses establishing a footprint in the local area.
The location benefits from strong transport links, with easy access to central London by rail, bus and the Docklands Light Railway. London City Airport and Heathrow Airport are also located just a few miles away.
Richard Morris, UK CEO, Regus, comments: “We’re delighted to be opening our first Lewisham location. The area is undergoing significant regeneration and is fast establishing itself as a thriving business destination with a particularly strong micro business community. The area offers excellent value and a prime spot for firms of all sizes looking for a well-connected base outside of central London, so we see it as a natural fit for our flexible workspace offering.”
